Yes! Question 6

How long does a vehicle wrap last in Prescott Arizona?

Accepted Answer

Most cast vinyl materials are rated for 5-7 years, but due to Arizona's high UV and harsh conditions we recommend removing and refreshing the wrap at 3.5-4 years to keep it looking its best.

Question 7

What is the best vinyl for Arizona sun?

Accepted Answer

Cast (high-performance) vinyl is the only choice for Arizona. Calendared vinyl shrinks, cracks and fades fast under Arizona UV. We exclusively use cast films from 3M and Avery Dennison for any exterior wrap exposed to the sun.

Question 8

Cast vs calendared vinyl - what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

Cast vinyl is poured as a liquid and conforms around curves, rivets and complex shapes - rated up to 7 years, though in Arizona we still recommend removing it within 4 years. Calendared vinyl is rolled flat, tends to lift on curves, shrink in heat and only lasts 1-3 years here. We use cast for every exterior wrap.

Question 9

Can you pressure wash a wrapped work truck?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but carefully. Keep the nozzle at least 12 inches away, use a fan tip, keep water temperature under 140 degrees F, and avoid spraying directly at edges and seams. High pressure at close range can lift the vinyl. Hand washing is always safest.

Question 10

Should you wrap an oxidized truck?

Accepted Answer

No. Oxidized, chalky or failing paint won't hold vinyl. We inspect your vehicle first. If the clear coat is shot, we recommend paint correction or a re-spray before wrapping so the vinyl sticks and lasts.

Question 11

Avery vs 3M for commercial vehicle wraps?

Accepted Answer

Both make excellent cast films. 3M IJ180 and Avery MPI are industry standards for fleet wraps. We choose based on color availability, finish and the specific vehicle. Both carry multi-year warranties for Arizona conditions.

Question 12

How much does a truck wrap cost in Prescott AZ?
